It's been in the 70's this past week. Can we worry about global warming now???

Well concidering that 70's are not all that unusual this time of year, it does not concern me all hat much, come back whenitis in the upper 80's in Decemebr or Jauary.

I will stop being concerned when we break this current streak of record warm winters we are having now.

we had a very mild summer last year, it was nearly 2 years between 100 degree temps. Usually there are several days per summer when the temp is above 100, Also you are not taking into account the near record Snow fall thay are haing in the Rockys this Winter and the colder than normal temps in the North east, as well as above normal Snowfall in the Northeast. We have not been studying the major cycles long enough to come to conclutions about major Climate change. When I was in Grade School in the70's we were studying and learning about how we were on the verge of global cooling and poossibly a major Ice Age.

Record temps yesterday. Looks like a return to the dustbowl days. Should we be worried about global warmning yet?

The Dust Bowl proves my point, THese Temps are all cyclical. Besices, you can't judge Global Tends by local Weather events. In the upper midwest temps are normal or below, same in California right now. Again it wasn't too long ago we had a string of very mild summers in Oklahoma. We haven't been studying stuff long enough to know what the long term trends really are.
